Admittedly I am not the brightest bulb in the drawer sometimes (Note official party line to husband is the opposite, back me up on that one!). This week I ordered a new telephone (landline) on the net. I have been hovering and eyeing this one style for months. Well it finally came up discontinued. So I had to search and search to find it - some places were listing it at $80 and above when it listed under $30 previously- and find it I finally did. Note #2 it has been an incredibly slow dull week at work since fiscal year end is almost here and the field is about $147 million below goal I think they are just writing off this year and waiting to pounce for next so anyway all week it's been "internet work" all day. The NINE pregnant. girls have been baby shopping basically 8 hours a day. Anyhooo so I finally found my phone UNDER $25 so I order it. Here is where the lightbulb drastically dims. Did I print my order? no. Did I write down the website? no. Did I willingly just give them my card # and signoff and wait for UPS to show up at my house? Welll now that would be a big dufus YES. And wait I do......The kicker being I started my illustrious career in BANK CARD FRAUD. Yeah...you read it. For a few years I laughed at people like myself. Note #3 back then you could smoke in the office and there was telephone/catalog fraud no internet hence no internet fraud. So I vaguely recall finding the site but can't remember the name of it so um tracking it has been hard (so far it appears on my checking account without the name just the amount).
Maybe my head is only filled with Pink Bunny Slippers
