So another manic Monday has arrived and slapped me on the face. Just when you think you are making progress in adulthood an incident happens in your daily life that makes you shrink back to 3rd grade and feel like the last one picked in kickball. Then you come home and watch "Wife Swap" with your husband and get the sinking feeling when you are both laughing at the crazy people they are hitting a little too close to home. The man you are sitting next to apparently thinks there are leprechauns and fairies to do all the housework... You see the problem is we both have similar schedules and similar level of work stress. There is just not a clear cut winner here. SO we both resort to sneaky tricks to get out of doing things around "the lazy D ranch". Unfortunately for me The Hubby's boss is out of town this week and HE is in charge. That means I lose. The cooking (PB&J), cleaning (move the dust bunnies around) and wash (sorry honey slipped my mind, but those pants look clean) are all in my lap.

In other news I think I have decided it may be time to open up to looking outside of (name withheld for safety concerns) for job opportunities. Somehow working in an environment that promotes sheer craziness is finally taking it's toll. Ethically I can't stand next to decisions that are being made. Note: it's good to find out I HAVE ethics. But (I hate when there are but's in stories, it never indicates anything good) considering the roof I have to help put over our heads, the car payment I have to make and the puppy chow I have to buy I think I can keep the ethics at bay a little longer.

I have implemented a daily scoring system. I am debating letter vs number score so for now we will do letters.
Today's score:
Diet: C+
Work: D-
Housework: B
Friendships: C
Husband: B
Communication: B+ (called Mom)
Pups: A +++++++++++++++++
