PINKBUNNIESLIPPERS

So the husband is off on his sleep study tonight.

I am playing single gal about town. I have NOT done any of the things I thought I would have done. No pigging out on choclate and eating a box of cookies. No greasy chinese food (husband does not care for most forms of chinese food). No 14 beers and passing blissfully out in my comfy chair. No chit chatting in the Jan Brady position on the phone (upside down on couch head hanging ove the side). No bottle of wine all to myself being poured in a big normally useless wineglass. Sadly after having a dinner of a chef salad (yes, honest injun) this is how the night progressed....

1. Called Mom at hospital as she had surgery yesterday. Drama had been happening all day within Florida hospital let's just say in regards to a catheter issue.
2. Made pot of coffee
3. Spoke to sister on the phone to compare phone calls to Mom AKA who got the worse one.
4. Ate jelly beans
5. checked email
6. paid bills on line.
7. Sadly did check a few of my favorite celebrity mocking sites to find out the B. Spears no tighty whities bruhaha. Please note this was sad and pathetic on my end but really it was the caffiene/ sugar buzz. Saw some very disturbing photos that seem to have been taken by a gynecologist.
8. Currently trying to console our furry child who has never really seen formentioned husband take off for a night. You can almost see the thought bubble above her "I should have caught the bolter". She is beside herself. She is not feeling as she kept good tabs on her pack.
9. Decided wash would be not fitting for the wild single gal night unless drunkenly done at a laundry mat and frankly ain't gonna happen.
10. Eventually will go finish the Nora Ephron book about getting older - it is really too funny - I am reading and I will cap off the evening by dozing off to christmas music playing.

On another note I have checked my checking account and credit card balances and want to know how the heck I did it - overspent AGAIN this christmas. I did get FANTABULOUS deals (and got my free lip glass at Victoria Sec. today and my 12.50 value item FREE from Bath n Body to say "good job me & myself") the last few weeks. Mixed in was the comfy chair for the living room (that is a whole other story that is really really funny as it involves a huge chair, a malibu and the terror black friday) that was worth it...but honestly I can't see what the other charges were....okok I did buy a coffee maker for WORK on black friday and because it was such a GREAT deal another for the heck of it. Oh yes I did get that stick vac that was a steal...and the portable dvd player...um....I guess maybe I need to check my list again. I have a feeling I forgot to buy um CHRISTMAS PRESENTS.
