Long strange trip....

well wednesday was my surgery. All went well and I am feeling much better. Sleeping has been the bad part (as in not much of it during the night) but all in all just discomfort.

I did realize as I was washing, blow drying AND curling my hair the morning of the surgery maybe I have deep seated issues. Maybe I was just bored and nervous. We arrived at the hospital and about 10 minutes later over the speaker there was a voice saying "the fire alarms are not working blah blah blah" T and I just looked at each other. Would this be a repeat of the last time? Nope I headed off to prep op. As I was in there I heard the sounds of hammering and various construction noises. I waited for them to hit a wire and the electricity to fail. It didn't. Surgery was a success. My Dr (who I harbor a crush on by the way) was charming and skillful. Hopefully I did not babble any patient -dr embarassing swoons while under.
I did take T with me to get the packing out - just so he could fall a LITTLE bit more in love with me. Really, it was digusting. I won't horrify you with details but....well no I won't go there.
So I have been resting and finally sitting up to get on the computer. yay for me.
