How long has it been since I posted? Desperate to touch base my employer is paying me right now to type (they don't know it so let's keep it hush hush)
Honestly I can't believe that Labor Day weekend is here (Q. Do you think the Brits think we are celebrating their Labor Party this weekend?) and fall is upon us. I love fall and the leaves are changing here already. I am EVEN looking forward to the first snowfall since Zophia has never seen it and we can't wait to see what she does.
The good news is my BFF got the call, they were picked as adoptive parents. I am soooo excited. I have been good friends with her from when we were little: we grew up together, went to schol together, worked together, traveled together, were roomates, were in each others weddings...now to see this, something she aand her husband have been hoping for for so long...it's wonderful. I must work on my Auntie Mame skills.
This weekend we are going out to the country for a festival and my sister and brother in law's. They have Goat Chip Bingo, need I say more? Hopefully there will be pictures to post. They will have a flea market and since my sister and I both have some collections going on (She: old cameras, coffee pots and coffee cans Me: Scottie dogs, old cookbooks and antique match holders) maybe we will score. Oh Sunday is a birthday breakfast brunch! One word: Mimosas! Friday is "date night" which means order in and watch Ghost hunters on Tivo (I heart Tivo)
