Dear self

We have to have a little chat....first let's talk about the sad "tracking" on your blog. Um it's tracking just one hit over and over and self this is hard to say - IT'S YOU. You are the only one apparently looking at your blog which face it, if you wanted no one to see it you would have the laptop in a little leather binder with a teeny tiny key attached to it to keep it, you know, private.
So stop stalking yourself. Note: To the one or two others - I heart you!

Self, stop camparing your ramblings to other bloggers out there because random blogs are a dime a dozen. They are streetcorners for fustrated writers. A dime a dozen all painted up nice and pretty with no real future. Be happy reading the musings of your friends and friends of friends because they are smack down talented people. You all make me laugh and cry and think about the big picture. So self, stop scratching your head at the "I make my living blogging" "I won my 100th blogging award" (really, WRITERS get book contracts bloggers get 112 comments) people.

Personal side note to friend I spoke to on the phone today. Really. I think you are looking down the right road. I can see you being successful and brilliant in that. I truly can.

Back to self. Your furry children are furry children. Furnace men age 23 fixing your furnace do NOT want to hear about pookaluka's ity bity gas problem or how furry child #2 was born a poor black dog in west virginia and made a miraculous journey (reference a similiar biblical miracle) through Pa to your humble home in Ny. SENSOR YOURSELF SELF!
