Ah the two sides of me....first up! 64 days til Vegas baby!Yes the semi annual girls halluballuh is upon us. This time we will be there during MY birthday. We got a pretty good deal considering it is The Mirage but YESSSSSS direct flights in and out. So watch out world more texts that will be sent from a casino bathroom at 3am saying "Im Drunks" - ah classy lady. Being the super cool and so NOT nerdy people we are: having my birthday dinner at the Liberace Museum (oh so cheesy cool), doing the haunted Vegas tour (self do not forget your camera this time), seeing the Rat Pack show at the Greek Isle (the only casino that pays out in nickles I'm not fooling with ya!), and I lost a beat and have to go to the Bare bar at the Mirage. no more comment on that.
The other side of me got invited to a wedding in DC that I am so looking forward to. the couple is smart, well educated, kind, well traveled and lovely. I don't know how to even say to them we will be there if we can find a dog sitter. I would have to assume that they, as their friends, jump contitnents so easily as they do not have any thing like the scraggily mutt twosome (with one that specializes in shoe and pillow destruction and the other inside bathroom breaks as her specialty) on their heels. Our last overnight stay the dogsitter was terrorized with the lovebites from Zophia and her fondness for sleeping on one's head. Note we think she is part Deerhound.
Ah that brings me to nerd alert #764. We had the DNA tests done on our wacky furry creatures. Kelsey Abbagail came back as minature schnauzer and cocker spaniel (that part was a surprise). I assume they are still trying to figure out Zophia's species...no word yet - or sympathy card.
I now know how you felt, the internet here is AWFUL.
