If you are from Buffalo or are an American vaguely aware of a little thing called politcs or (since you are reading and I assume writing blogs) interested in journalism then you know who Tim Russert was. Today flags are flying at half staff in honor of a beloved son of the city. Not only did he make you smile knowing smart, savy, in the know people are breed here but he said what we all sometimes have a hard time saying : I love this city called Buffalo.
I would love to write a thousand page essay on this man but right now it's just too much. I pray for his family. His wife, his son and father. I pray they stand proud and stay strong.
It really is sad. I watched the tribute to him on NBC las night and kept crying! He truly didn't forget where he was from or his roots.
