SO THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! To prove my ABSOLUTE NERDINESS we have purchased 3 Team USA t-shirts to wear friday night and what's for dinner at the PBS household? CHINESE FOOD!
When I was little all I wanted to be was an Olympic Equestrian but seeing as I fell off THREE times my first horse show it never looked like a serious career development was in the works for me. Oh yes, and you need a horse. I did eventually get a horse, Tony, who was 20 years old and rattled with horsey heart disease. I loved him though. And when Mom told me he was purchased by a little old man for his grandson and going to a "green green farm" (What? Why are you looking at me like that? It was true.) I was happy for him. Ok also I had just fallen off and broken my arm so maybe I was ready to admit my Olympic aspirations where a little far fetched.
Anyhoo. When the winter Olympics were in Norway I happend to be vacationing in Florida. Oh you are thinking WHAT CAN BE THE CONNECTION HERE! Well. We were at Epcot and decided to watch the Olympics IN Norway. Oh how clever were we. Of course Hurricane Jean was wearing her "nordic socks. Look at the gnome on them!" I had to break the news the gnome looked like, why yes it was, Barney Rubble.
You are so creative!!! I love that..watching the Olympics in "Norway"
