Every day seems to bring a new adventure. This week not so much unless you count not drooling on yourself or crumpled kleenex basketball a small acomplishment. At this point I do.
My beloved olympics have ended. The fanfare has died down. Now what? Meet you in London 2012 baby!
I have been trapped in bed for a few days. The sun has been shining and the blue sky sparking. I may venture out to bask in some of it's warmth today. I am a big believer in the healing powers of something so simple as nature. Apparently not such a believer in good food. I have ate the most horrible things this week. The old adage Feed a Cold, Starve a Fever. Well my cold has been crying out for pizza and chocolate. The ironic part is I find myself very much missing those fresh crispy vegtables and sweet juicy fruits from the Farmer's Market. My lazy sick body is just saying "more twizzlers please" (at least lazy sick body is polite-I raised it well.) I have caught up on some good television though. As discussed I watched Mad Men and now The Tudors. Throw in a little 1977 Ryan's Hope and what a party!
In the next few days I hope that I have more to discuss than just my athletic ability to toss kleenex and commercials (my favortite: the Armstrong commercial that was filmed at our house)
You did raise yourself well! =)
