Live! Life's a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!

Tomorrow night my BFF and I are having a cookie bake a thon (I swear my friend Nicole makes THE BEST Chocolate Chip cookies and we are attempting to duplicate them). Her daughter's Baptism is this weekend and plates of desserts are needed for the 100 plus crowd. You say it's over the top? I say NO! They have tried for years to have a baby and patiently been waiting out the adoption process when miracles of miracles happen, their little girl. This little baby is such a blessing. Every moment of every day she is loved and thought about. While I thought it might be hard to watch my friend take off into the new role of motherhood leaving me behind - she and her husband have both been very sweet in keeping my in her life as an active participant. I hold that dear.

So while I go to tweak my Auntie Mame persona I leave you with the thought of beautiful babies and warm fresh chocolate chip cookies.
