My frugal ideas for Christmas while Mr PBS is laid off:

1. Fruitcake. Easy to regift last years as it never gets eaten and really tastes the same even like 10 years later.

2. Wrapping paper. So if you DO get a gift it's wrapped in Barbie birthday paper. It's ripped open and the paper discarded.

3. Cocktails. At my house you will belly up to the box of wine or Snow Creek Berry Boons farm this year. Non drinkers will taste refreshing tap water as an option

4. Christmas tree. Thank goodness we have a fake one! This year we will be sitting on the couch with the lights off flashing flashlights at it for the lighted effect.

5. Cards. If I see you you will get one. USPS unfortunately will not see my crappy handwriting this year nor see me waddle up to purchase lovely cute christmas stamps.

6. Church. We will go as we really need to pray but skip out before the collection plate makes it's way 'round - unless there are coffee and donuts afterwards.

7. Tipping the mailman etc. This will go on the same as normal. It's the right thing to do.
