The fall rush and other tales....
First of all Fall is my favorite season. The colors, the crisp air, hot meals to warm you all up, comfy sweaters and fall craft shows. I have been like a kid deciding which sweater to wear to work. It's like a whole new wardrobe. Ah there is my favorite, a soft dreamy orange one just waiting for it's turn. The best part it retailed at $115 and I got it for $13 (thank you Jones of NY @ Prime Outlets). It's like I turn into Rainman recalling purchases. My slew of cashmere sweaters? After season sale under $20 each (short sleeve). And last year I stocked up on all new turtlenecks ($4 each!) in every color and it was like Christmas pulling them out of the "Winter" bin. I have been searching widly for my all time fall favs, my cordory slacks. I can't seem to locate where I packed them away. I am nervous and edgy about it. This week I am sending off the cashmeres and fav sweater to the dry cleaners. I am already anticipating seperation anxiety, I love the feather soft cashmere.
Next week I go to Florida and have been figuring out what to pack. It reminds me how much I like the beautiful tourquise sandles that fit like a glove (I picked up at the end of the season $7) and the cute new fun The Limited pink shoes to kick around in ($3 @ TJ Maxx)... maybe summer is not so bad after all...
