Some days it seems you can't get your head and your heart on the same page.
Today head and heart were at odds. In my mind I know what I should do but my heart says no that's not what I want to do. It is strange because it's just something I have to internalize and really not seek T's opinion, really just look into myself. I do not mean to be so serious but it's been a week of revalations. Things about myself and others have suprised me. I thought i had come so far as to be able to allow certain things to roll off my back but those are still the same things that sort of side swipe me as I am just driving home and just thinking those mundane thoughts you have while commuting. Bam, something you thought you had long let go of rears it's ugly head and gets you all crazy. On the plus side what a joy it is to finally make it home and walk in and see T's smiling face (though asking what's for dinner) and K's waggidy wagging tail. All that "stuff" that horrid stuff that just bogs down your thoughts ebbs away.

on another note I did make a "spa" appointment for little miss barks a lot. She gets the works done saturday : wash, massage, cut, ears, teeth and nails. She will be SPALICIOUS! Her Papa was not happy with her this morning as she hogged the covers and then jumped on his belly at 5AM to go out.

On another note we have two new people working with me and they are doing fab. I am really impressed and tell them that. People need a pat on the back. As the One Minute Manager says "catch someone doing something right". That leads me to...

On another note my surgery was rescheduled for 2/21. Now I was worried about timing but really everyone should be up to speed and doing quite well. However that DOES remind you how replaceable you are.

One another note we FINALLY ordered a dining room table. We have a small round cottage-ish table and we are growing up to our first real table. It is backordered until march which gives me plently of time to find a great tablecloth and new curtains for the area. I would say a rug but little miss barks a lot thinks those are chux pads.

BTW I hear someone is having their first party at their new house for superbowl! I am sure it will all go great and the host and hostess will be the best!!!!

Well all I have a PILE of laundry screaming my name "fold me fold me" so I must end this little chat. Hope all is well and take care. Ciao!
