Does anyone realize how darn close the holidays are?
How we are thisclose to putting up the tree and stringing the lights? Have you gone through your CD collection and pulled out your Christmas With Frank and Bing? Brushing off your family eggnog recipe (aka rum)? Started the snowblower to make sure it works? Poured over cookie recipes for the annual cookie exchange? Started your shopping list? Started noticing the pretty wrapping paper in the store? Dusted off your copies of Holidays with Martha? Picked out your Christmas cards (please don't send the "family update" in them because we do NOT like that, no one does and we just mock them)? Decided THIS is the year everything will be perfect for the Christmas season?
Well I have done none of this but I HAVE discovered that Victoria magazine is BACK. I am one happy girl. The pain and shock of being torn away from it when it folded a few years ago is healing. I want the new copy in my hands then all is forgive Hearst Co.
