I started to reply to Kat regarding Zophia and my chewed pillows.
It's hard to beleive but we have had our her over a year now. The first six months she chewed EVERYTHING. But when I say everything I mean everything of MINE not MR PBS'. He can leave socks laying around and she won't touch them (smart girl) but she will dig three feet deep into our closet if she thinks there may be a single loose trouser sock of mine floating around. And yes, usually she yelps "SCORE!" because yes I am that messy. Not only that, she will proudly lift her head and do a winner's circle trot around the house with it swaying in her jaws of doom for the poor trouser sock.
I have to be quick folding laundry if I bring it into the bedroom and lay it on the bed to fluff and fold. She will follow behind me like a stealth bomber and jump up to grab something (usually the newest item) and run off with her loot.
I have had to replace phones, remotes, pillows, dog beds, shoes, socks, DVD's, nightlights, pants, etc. If you come to my house you will find most everything half chewed as now it's just easier to save the money and not replace it. And if you want to watch friends Season 5 you are out of luck. Apparently that was the tastiest season.
Our little one has gotten a LOT better. In fact I thought we were in the clear until the other morning when I went to grab a pair of slacks and found the entire butt area chewed - but it was chewed in the shape of a heart so I just couldn't yell at her. Off I go this weekend to find another pair of tan cordoroy's.
OMG! I can't stop laughing! it's a good thing the hole in the pants wasn't small and you didn't notice it! =)
ReplyDeleteBTW, remember how much your little ones love it when I come visit! They just love me and are angels when I'm around! =)
