Putting the Christmas tree up and other tales from suburbia....
Well I have been trying to get the tree up (note due to allergies we are forced to go the "fake" route) - or should I say trying to get the husbands butt off the couch to get it up.
HOLD IT UP FOLKS. I hear noise in the other room.
Never mind the "complain-about-the tree-not-up" blog has bit the dust. It's going up! He has pulled through. HE HAS PULLED THROUGH PEOPLE! Rejoice in the streets! Sing loud praises to the goddess of patience for lazy husbands! Say a hail mary to the patron saint of wives of procrastinators! My boy has put the tree up.
Words of advice. I fed him his favorite dessert - pumpkin pie- tonight. Always bribe through the tummy.
So we all have so much to catch up on. Work is insane and has left me no time for "internet research" during the day. AKA blogging. Hope Turkey day was great. Mine was good. Shopped the day after (a nightmare but tradition). Got wonderful bargoonies. Chopped down the Cherry tree in the front yard. We have a wedding to attend this weekend and while it's 66 degrees right now saturday it's supposed to snow. I have to have surgery in January (septum/sinus spurs). I love Christmas time. Be good to each other and hug the one you love. BTW Congrats to NYKAT for her new house! YAY! May good memories be what makes your house a home.
We have the internet!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the surgery, I heard it was worh it though!
